FirstGroup Paint Contract Confirms #1 Bus Industry Status



Britain’s biggest bus operator, FirstGroup, has appointed Manchester-based HMG Paints as the preferred supplier for all its paint requirements, for the next three years. The contract, which was negotiated by HMG’s Commercial Transport Products Manager, Steve Louis, includes the supply of compliant, high performance brushing systems and single- and two-pack spraying systems for exterior refinishing, as well as specialist finishes for interior applications. HMG will deliver to upwards of a hundred First bus depots, working closely with paintshop managers and customer purchasing teams.
