Spies Hecker Unveils Permasolid HS Vario 8590



Spies Hecker has launched its Permasolid HS Vario Surfacer 8590, which is designed for intermediate sanding or wet-on-wet application. This versatile and VOC-compliant product is easy to use and comes from a family with a proven track record. The secret of the surfacer’s success is its universal applications.

Whatever the requirement – intermediate sanding for paint repairs, wet-on-wet application for new, factory-primed parts, or an isolation surfacer on critical substrates – the high quality of the Vario Surfacer convinces countless refinishers day after day. “We’ve upgraded our successful surfacer product,” explains Ralf Kiesel, Spies Hecker Product Manager.

“The new Permasolid HS Vario Surfacer 8590 can be mixed with high solids and very high solids hardeners and is VOC-compliant.” From now on medium solids hardeners can be dispensed with entirely.

The basic product characteristics of the Spies Hecker Vario Surfacer have remained unchanged. The material continues to be suitable as a sanding surfacer and wet-on-wet surfacer and facilitates good paint flow on all substrates.

“Especially when applied wet-on-wet, Permasolid HS Vario Surfacer 8590 supports the top coat’s gloss and flow perfectly. In this way, the bodyshop can improve its quality of repair and satisfy the requirements of the Solvent Directive at the same time,” he added.
