Osram launches Night Breaker

Osram, represented in Ireland by Team PR Reilly has launched the most powerful 12V headlight upgrade bulb for cars and motorcycles – Osram Night Breaker. Thanks to its new high-performance filament and innovative design, the OSRAM Night Breaker projects up to 90% more light on the road and a beam extension of up to 35 metres compared to standard bulbs (dependent on car headlamp unit).

This significantly increases forward visibility helping motorists to detect potential hazards earlier whilst offering longer stopping distances and increased reaction times. Additionally, the Osram Night Breaker projects greater light towards the road-side, illuminating blind spots and helping motorists to recognise cyclists and pedestrians sooner.

The product has also been specifically designed to help to reduce driver fatigue. The light itself is up to ten per cent whiter than standard bulbs which reduces eye strain and increases driving comfort. A whiter light also allows motorists to distinguish road signs and obstacles from other road traffic more clearly.

Additionally, a special bulb coating provides a unique appearance that reduces glare and helps prevent oncoming drivers from being dazzled.
