Glasurit points to OE approvals

For bodyshops, working with coatings products and systems approved by carmakers is a crucial factor for success, according to Glasurit. The company, which currently has 37 OE manufacturer approvals, says an approval guarantees customers that their vehicles will undergo top-quality refinishing, not unlike a repair with original parts. Brand-linked bodyshops, according to Glasurit are gaining in significance, making top-of-the-line refinishing an important competitive edge.

A car manufacturer does not grant technical approval until it has carried out intensive tests and thoroughly checked whether the quality of Glasurit automotive refinish products meets the stringent requirements of automotive OEM coating. The technical approval is then laid down in a contract and is valid for a region or for the entire international market. Detailed agreements on aspects such as delivery, training, or services are signed at the national level. Each carmaker’s approval thus documents that Glasurit’s innovative product systems, colour management, and comprehensive shop support make it the ideal partner for any car dealer and any bodyshop.

Glasurit products and product systems have been approved by Porsche, Isuzu, Skoda, Audi, Land Rover, Daihatsu, Alfa Romeo, Lexus, Mazda, Smart, Opel, Kia, Mini, Vauxhall, Bentley, Daewoo/Chevrolet, Chevrolet, Seat, General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Jeep, Dodge, Volkswagen, Lancia, Mitsubishi, Maybach, Volvo, Toyota, Hyundai, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce, Fiat and Honda.
