Sikkens tailors new clearcoat to CV market

Akzo Nobel Sikkens are pleased to announce the launch of Autocoat BT LV 851 Clear – their new state of the art Clearcoat designed specifically for the commercial vehicle market. Autocoat BT LV 851 Clear is VOC-Compliant, contains fewer solvents and is therefore less harmful to the environment than conventional products and is the obvious choice for customers who need to reduce their solvent emissions. The real added value is that it can be used on all kinds of Commercial Vehicles and over all of Akzo Nobel’s Basecoat systems including the recently introduced Autocoat BT WB 551.

Developed using an existing hardener from the Akzo Nobel product range this will also enable the customer to keep their stock levels to a minimum resulting in increased cost savings. “Autocoat BT LV 851 Clearcoat is extremely versatile and easy to apply. It is suitable for all types of repair – from spot finishes to complete re-sprays. With excellent flow and gloss levels delivering an optimal finish under all conditions” commented Andy Bond, Commercial Vehicle Product Manager at Akzo Nobel.
