Motorsport Show and family day
A well-known bodyshop in Co. Galway is hosting a Motorsport Show and Family Open Day on Sunday, July 19, with all proceeds going to a worthy cause.
Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs is hosting the event at Glenascaul Business Park, Oranmore, Co Galway. Proceeds from the event will go to the Paul Gallagher Recovery Fund. Paul was seriously injured while competing in the 2009 Galway International Rally and Frank and his team hope to raise some funds to help aid his recovery. Run in association with Galway Motor Club the event will include a Motorsports Show, display of vehicles including helicopters, racing motorbikes, sports, racing and rally cars, vintage vehicles and agricultural equipment. There will also be performances by stunt motorbike rider Matt Griffen and World Champion Kickboxer Ken Horan, as well as radio controlled model car racing.
