New Standox EP Primer Surfacer 3:1 is the perfect material for use on sanded through areas to cover bare metal or underlying substrates. Its superb corrosion protection has earned it technical approvals from major vehicle manufacturers.
This epoxy primer filler is formulated for fast and easy application and hardened using Standox EP Hardener mixed 3:1. Once applied it combines the qualities of a good filler with those of a high-quality primer to give effective corrosion protection.
Drying is fast, and it can be accelerated when needed. Sanding is possible after 40 minutes at 60-65°C or in around15-20 minutes under infra-red. EP Primer Surfacer 3:1 can also be air-dried over night. It is easily sanded to a high level finish. For added flexibility Standox EP Primer Surfacer is suitable for wet and dry sanding. It combines very good filling and adhesion with high levels of chemical and mechanical resistance. EP Primer Surfacer makes the ideal substrate for the successful application of Standohyd Basecoat and high-solids Standox VOC clears.
