Worldwide GM approval for Sikkens
General Motors (GM) has given worldwide approval to selected Sikkens systems. The approval renews an existing relationship covering selected Sikkens systems and extends it to two new products in 2010: Sikkens Autoclear Superior 250 for the California market and Sikkens Colorbuild Plus, the second generation of the coloured primer system introduced by AkzoNobel. Sikkens Autoclear Superior 250 is a state-of-the-art clearcoat designed to be used together with Sikkens Autowave, AkzoNobel’s waterborne basecoat. “We have had a long and very valuable partnership with GM” said Chuck Mayne, AkzoNobel Car Refinishes Key Account Manager for the Americas. “They know they can depend on AkzoNobel for the highest quality products and outstanding service, as well as leadership in technology and sustainability.
