Sealey safety recall
Sealey has revealed a potential safety issue with its230-12V power transformer supplied with the LED2105 Rechargeable Inspection Lamp. The company has identified that the screws, used in the assembly of the transformer supplied with the light, have been over tightened in some cases, causing the housing to crack slightly. The result is that the housing may separate when being removed from the wall socket, leaving live components exposed. In view of the potential risk, the company has decided to recall the transformer with immediate effect. If you have purchased one of these Rechargeable Inspection Lamps please withdraw the transformer from use immediately and return it to your local dealer, who will supply you with a replacement transformer.
