PPG Industries celebrate fully ATA Accredited Technical Team
PPG Industries have cause for celebration as it’sTechnical Team, the largest field based technical team in the UK, has now become fully ATA Accredited.
The Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) is an assessment programme that measures performance against a set of key industry skills, providing proof of their competence to work to a high professional standard and code of conduct. The ATA is regulated by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). It also has the backing of major vehicle manufacturers, independent repair organisations, insurance organisations and Thatcham.
The PPG Industries Training Centre also continues it’s ongoing successful relationship with the IMI. Chris Pennell’s PPG Training Manager comments “Having been involved with the QAA programme for many years it was a natural progression for us to become an ATA fully accredited Training Centre”.
