U-POL unveils innovative filler

U-POL has come up with an innovative filler product that had been specifically designed to repair composite and plastics substrates being used on automobiles - bumpers and body panels being the more obvious and visible components.

For flexible substrates such as bumpers and most plastics, specially formulated PLAST X® 6 is ideal to fill scuffs and scratches or finish repaired areas, according to U-POL.

For rapid repairs of rigid plastics such as sheet moulding compound, fibre glass, and composite substrates found extensively in commercial vehicles, HGVs and caravans, U-POL offers SMC™ fibre filler which is reinforced with carbon fibre for extra strength.

For tough resistant GRP coating or bridging holes, FIBRAL is an ideal glass fibre repair paste that can be sanded and shaped once cured. GALV X™ super high adhesion filler can be applied directly onto the more difficult galvanised substrates.
