“3” is the magic number for Stanners 3T Expert welder

Bodyshop equipment specialists Stanners Equipment Ltd has released a new easy-to-use welder to the market that that offers three welding processes from a single machine.

The 3T Expert is a 200 Amp synergic welding unit suitable for most bodyshops

This German-made all-rounder has been put together with day-to-day usability in mind. It allows the user to work on steel, brass and cosmetic aluminium with no need for realignment when moving between jobs.

The device features 10 voltage settings, with automatic wire speed regulation that lets the user fine-tune the welding process.

The 3T Expert holds two gas bottles, one containing pure Argon for working with brass and aluminium and the other Argo shield to for steel Mig welding. This means there is no need to swap gas bottles mid-job, and no need to swap torches or liners either.

The 3T Expert is also very precise. An aluminium spool gun allows extremely thin materials to be welded, such as splits on wings.

Commenting on the 3T Expert, Managing Director John Stanners said: ‘There are three reasons why the 3T Expert is best for bodyshops. Firstly it is easy to use. Secondly it is extremely adaptable. The third, and perhaps key reason is that because it can do so much without the need for major realignment it will save time in the workshop, thereby offering greater efficiency.’
