Abcon wins Employer of the Year award

Abcon Industrial Products Ltd received an Employer of the Year award at the Generation Apprenticeship Employers of the Year 2022 awards ceremony held recently in Dublin.

Abcon picked up the award in the ‘pioneering micro and small companies employing apprentices’ category.

The Cavan-based manufacturer and distributor of abrasives, tools, and accessories was one of only seven businesses from around the country to receive an award on the night.

Lyn Sharkey, sales and marketing director at Abcon (pictured 2nd from right) was presented with the award from members of the Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board.
