Airbag removal kit from Laser Tools
When removing an airbag, the module has to be removed safely, without causing damage to the airbag, surrounding trim components and of course, the technician.
The newly updated Laser Tools airbag removal tool kit (part number 8265) has been designed to bring together many of the airbag latch tools required for modern cars to enable safe airbag removal.
Vehicle model coverage has also been brought up to date, including tooling for BMW and VW Group 2020 models.
Coverage includes: BMW, Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Renault, Opel/Vauxhall and Volkswagen Group.
The tool set includes: 1/4″D tamperproof Star T25 socket bit (BMW); Star T30 socket bit (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Vauxhall/Opel, Renault, VW Group); and 1/4″D 5mm hex socket bit (VW Group), plus a selection of specially shaped levers for releasing airbag holding springs.
The kit also includes a specially shaped spring hook for Land Rover (also available separately (part No. 7345) and Vauxhall/Opel Insignia and Astra from 2008 (part No. 6583). Included tools equivalent to OEM JC100, T10119, T10610, T40207, 501-106.
This kit is supplied in an EVA foam tray convenient for user storage and limiting packaging waste.
