AkzoNobel’s Vehicle Refinishes business has launched a brand new Sikkens website to meet the digital needs of its customers.

The launch of the new website offers cusotmers quick and easy access to product information, technical data and material safety sheets. Customers can also access color information and tools and experience the new website on their desktop, tablet or smartphone, wherever they are.

“As well as giving the website a fresh look and feel, we have equipped it with an intuitive and responsive functionality that will enhance the user experience on any device,” says Tsjip Boersma, Marketing Director Automotive and Specialty Coatings.

The development of the new website is part of a continuous Sikkens brand refreshment campaign whose tagline – ‘Creating Together’ – underlines Sikkens’ commitment to work closely with its customers, partners and stakeholders.

“Navigation has been improved to bring visitors the information they need very quickly, with a minimum number of clicks. We present clear and quick links on the home page, taking users directly to the most popular and relevant sections with information important to them.”

Tsjip Boersma explains: “We want our ‘Creating Together’ message to be seen, heard and felt throughout the market, and an effective website is vital to achieving this. We are also using the website to show customers how we can support them with our color leadership, color tools and Colorvation platform. We are able to reinforce our strong brand offer of expertise, innovation and performance.”

He added, ‘We are in an age where customers want to access information via their mobile devices, so we have developed a device friendly solution to them. We want to help our customers make best use of their precious time by displaying information quickly and clearly, and linking them rapidly to the relevant pages.’
