AkzoNobel partners with Fiat Group

A new strategic deal has been signed between leading global paint and coatings supplier AkzoNobel and one of the world leaders in the automobile sector – Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. The deal is set to bring AkzoNobel’s premium paints and service to customers of the FGA and Chrysler Group in every corner of Europe.

Signed in Turin on October 8th, 2013, this important five year agreement means that AkzoNobel will supply FGA’s bodyshops with its premium Sikkens and Lesonal Car Refinishing brands until 2018.

These advanced, environmentally friendly paints will enable over 2,000 of Fiat Group’s European repair service centres to deliver a premium service to their customers; strengthening the Fiat Group’s performance in the aftersales sector.
