Big Sykes-Pickavant showcase at Automechanika Birmingham
Sykes-Pickavant will be exhibiting again at next week’s Automechanika Birmingham from June 4-6 and will feature a range of new and bestselling products to stand V168. The stand will also be hosting product specialists who will be demonstrating innovative automotive solutions for the workshop.
Govoni Range
Sykes-Pickavant offers a comprehensive range of Govoni products, many of which will be on display at the show. The latest promotional brochure includes a new Govoni adaptor system for use with 08585000 and GO440 Slide Hammers, components are available to purchase separately to allow the user to further increase the slide hammer’s range of applications to suit their needs.
The brochure also features the GO1151 Universal Wiper Extractor with Adjustable Fork which is designed to remove the wiper arm from the wiper shaft and features an aluminium turning head to prevent shaft damage.
Flow Stop Range
The Universal FlowStop Kit from Sykes-Pickavant is a reusable multipurpose system designed to keep fluids in maintenance systems whilst keeping dirt and dust out. The solution is ideal for use when flaring brake pipes, removing injectors and replacing or repairing the brake system etc., featuring a composition which is highly resistant to many chemicals, acids and other aggressive fluids with a temperature usage range between -25°C and +90°C.
There’s no need for the use of other tools, just push and twist to create a seal on any non-pressurised system.
The original 70200000 kit includes six micro plugs from 1-10mm and four standard plugs from 5-22mm and has led to the introduction of larger size kits by popular demand. The newly released 70300000 Heavy Duty kit includes four Micro Plugs from 1-10mm, four Standard Plugs from 5-22mm and two XL Plugs from 13-42mm. Two XL individual plugs have also been released; the 70400000 35-80mm and the 70500000 60-130mm versions. The sizeable voids of the XL individual plugs offer increased leverage and ease of insertion for large diameter hoses and other industrial applications.
Induction Heaters
Sykes-Pickavant’s comprehensive Induction Heater range is comprised of four models, with an option to suit every workshop. Using high frequency magnetic fields to create induction heat, ferrous metallic components heat up within seconds for quick and easy release without the danger of an open flame.
Alternative power options are available including the 110V 96021100 which is designed for site work, construction and factory maintenance where only 110 Volt power is permitted and the 12V 9602012V which works with any 12v battery pack or 12v battery.
The popular Venom Induction Heater + has recently been joined by a Deluxe Kit which includes extra coils to suit an even wider range of applications. As with the regular Venom Induction Heater, a two year warranty is included as standard.
The new 960400SP Deluxe kit includes the Standard Induction Heater as well as a removable tray with eleven labelled coils; including nine interchangeable pre-formed coils, the flexible Bearing Buddy for wrapping around inline and asymmetrical objects and the straight heat resistant U-Form coil for DIY winding.
Sykes-Pickavant’s Deluxe Kit will be featuring as part of its CV Showcase at Automechanika which has been carefully curated by show organisers to bring innovative products to the commercial vehicle sector.
ALS Range
