Blue Print adds new powering steering reservoir to range
Blue print has added a new power steering reservoir to its product offering.
The power steering fluid reservoir fitted to the Chrysler Voyager and Grand Voyager 3.3i is equipped with a small filter within its base. When this filter becomes contaminated and partially blocked, the power steering fluid flow becomes restricted between the reservoir and the pump. This usually results in an abnormal whine from the power steering pump, which is worse from a cold start up and at slow manoeuvring speeds.
Provided the pump hasn’t been subjected to prolonged fluid starvation, a replacement reservoir (which has a new filter) and fresh fluid is normally all that’s needed to provide a lasting repair.
The Blue Print power steering reservoir ‘ADA109551’ is a direct replacement for the original item and a straightforward job to complete. It is strongly advised that you drain as much of the original fluid from the power steering system as possible (including oil cooler, if fitted) and replace with new fluid of the correct specification.
Chrysler recommends power steering fluid that meets MOPAR MS-5931 specification.
