Bodyshops told to focus on cosmetic repairs
Collision repair businesses must expand its business offering by offering cosmetic repair to its range of services, a conference in Noray heard last month.
The Damage & Paint Conference in Gardermoen, in Norway heard competition in the collision damage repair market is increasing while at the same time the margins are decreasing and will continue to do so.
At the same time the need for cosmetic repairs is increasing and this need will continue to rise, the conference heard. So called “smart repair” techniques, which often are a very good alternative to traditional repair methods, can be used and are expanding rapidly, the conference was told.
