Britain’s most unloved drivers revealed
People who drive Audi and BMW cars have been named as the UK’s least favourite road users, according to a survey by a leading car and motorcycle dealership.
Drivers of so-called “executive cars” were dismissed as “rude” and “arrogant” by respondents, who also vented their ire at taxi drivers, boy racers and white van drivers.
Other makes of car were singled out for the UK’s least favourite drivers, with Range Rovers and other luxury off-roaders grinding the gears of those surveyed by the ColinAppleyard.com motor company.
“There is certainly a bit of jealousy at play here,” said ColinAppleyard.com ‘s Robin Appleyard, “but who hasn’t been tail-gated by an aggressively-driven BMW taking its owner to a business meeting?”
“However, there are few surprises in the results. They stopped making the Rover 75 years ago, but it seems there are still enough of them doddering round the country to annoy drivers everywhere.”
