Call for single operator to administer AIC scheme

Ireland’s only Accredited Inspection Contractor (AIC) has made a submission to the Department of Environment, Culture and Local Government, which calls for the establishment of a single operator

Framework Agreement following the department’s decision to review the legislation that governs the AIC scheme.

Certification Europe has been providing AIC inspections on the Solvent Regulations 2002 and the Deco-paints Regulations since 2007.

The AIC says its has “developed an approach that supports enforcement activities of the Local Authorities and also delivers high quality, independent and respected inspections.”
