Car-O-Liner appoints new distributor for Ireland

Car-O-Liner, the leading global provider of high-quality, technologically-advanced collision repair equipment to the automotive aftermarket has appointed a new distributor in Ireland.

Theo English, whose background is steeped in the collision repair industry will be responsible for sales, service, equipment calibration and training with the support of Car-O-Liner in the UK and Sweden.

Stuart Alexander, Managing Director of Car-O-Liner UK says the appointment of Theo English has been in the making for the past 18 months.

Stuart explained that the company was anxious to strengthen its presence in the Irish market, to give its loyal loyal customers an even greater levels of support and felt this would be best achieved with the appointment of a local distributor.

Stuart revealed: “We have had lots of approaches from various companies, looking to represent Car-O-Liner in Ireland. However, we wanted to make sure that we got the right person to take on this role.”

“I have known Theo all his adult life. He grew up in a bodyshop environment, and has owned and operated his own bodyshop. Theo is passionate about the bodyshop industry and is the perfect fit for us.”

Theo will be dealing with sales, service, equipment calibration and training, and will be actively supported by Stuart and his team in the UK.

Stuart, who has been the public face of Car-O-Liner in Ireland for many years, told Bodyshop.ie that he will continue with his regular visits to Ireland.

“ I will be in Ireland on a regular basis, and will be available to support Theo, so there’s no real change there.”

Theo commented on his appointment: “I’m very excited to be working with a brand as big as Car-O-Liner. He added: “Together we’re hoping to bring some new innovations and ideas to the Irish repair market, with a big emphasis on improving training.”
