Car-O-Liner has estimation bays covered

Damage inspection and the estimation bay play key roles in efficient collision repair work. The higher the quality of the inspection and estimation completed in the estimation bay, the greater the effectiveness of the repair shop.

Car-O-Liner says it offers a complete range of solutions for equipping an estimation bay in a collision repair workshop.

The bodyshop equipment experts highlights the CDS 35 Double Scissor Lift, the PointX II with storage wagon and the WSS 2-wall module with storage cabinet and hooks as key solutions every bodyshop should have. In addition, the Car-O-Liner Academy provides training in estimation and measuring.

Car-O-Liner says the estimation bay is also an important “sales space” for any workshop. They provide an opportunity to offer damage repair other than those that brought the customer into your shop in the first place, such as a paint chip or old parking damage.

It adds that a unique opportunity for additional sales is provided during the inspection as technicians go through the entire vehicle with the customer.

The estimation bay must contain the proper equipment to perform an adequate inspection and estimation. An inadequate inspection could lead to further repairs in the future, which negatively affects the repair chain by creating additional administration, potential increases in lead time and reduced workshop effectiveness.

A professionally equipped inspection area is thus a customer environment that helps you to convince the customer that they have made the right choice when choosing their workshop, according to Car-O-Liner.
