Car-O-Liner wins bodyshop supplier of the year award

Car-O-Liner has won a prestigious ABP award for bodyshop capital equipment supplier of the year 2021.

The winners, in over 19 categories, were announced in early November at the Auto Body Professionals Club (ABP) Annual Convention, Night of Knights & Bodyshop Excellence Awards. Other contenders in the capital equipment supplier category were GYS, Minden, Stanners and USI Italia.

Stuart Alexander, managing director of Car-O-Liner UK said: “After being a runner up at these events in 2018 and 2019, it really is great to come back with a bang.

“This is a very tough category, from the initial point of contact with our customers to the after sales customer service, at each stage we go above and beyond to make sure we deliver excellence, and to be selected for this by them is not only an honour, but reassurance that our passion for continuous growth and improvement has paid off, I feel really humbled by their votes.

“A big thank you to the Car-O-Liner team. I am very proud of our combined hard work and effort to achieve this.”

This is not the first time Car-O-Liner has won this award, the company also received it in 2015 and 2016, with its sister company, Blackhawk, winning in 2017.

Worldskills UK 2021
Meanwhile, Car-O-Liner also played a key role at the recent Worldskills UK 2021 held at Cardiff and Vale College in Wales, sponsoring the event and supplying a wide range of its equipment to participants.

“It was great to be back again after the last year being postponed, and we are proud to have sponsored the World Skills once again,” Alexander said.

“It really is a privilege and an honour to be working with such a great organisation, helping the next generation of talented young people become panel technicians and helping them realise their worth to the automotive industry, their skills really are the future of our economy.”

Car-O-Liner has been a global sponsor of the WorldSkills competition since 2011 and said it will be part of WorldSkills 2022 in Shanghai.
