Comline expands brake pad and hub assembly ranges
Multi-award winning British brand, Comline, has strengthened its brake pad and hub assembly kit portfolios with a raft of new-to-range references.
The latest influx of part numbers demonstrates the brand’s ongoing commitment to supplying solutions for all popular European, Japanese and Korean vehicles in support of its network of motor factor customers across the UK and to its distributor partners in more than 40 countries worldwide.
These new additions bring Comline’s brake pad range to 917 part numbers, while there are now 225 hub assembly kit references available alongside an equally comprehensive range of wheel bearing kits.
Brake pads
Comline’s braking offer is one that continues to flourish and it’s arguably brake pads that lead the way. Powered by the brand’s NAM112A friction compound, which is rigorously tested to comply with R90 regulations and pushed beyond with what Comline refers to as ‘super R90’ testing, Comline brake pads are manufactured to deliver consistent, reliable braking performance with every push of the pedal.
Director of Braking Product Development, Dr. Keith Ellis explains: “We push our pads beyond the R90 minimums with more extensive dyno and on-vehicle testing. This includes hot-shear testing; wear testing, which tests durability across a range of temperatures; and noise testing at a range of speeds and pressures.
“Putting Comline brake pads through this comprehensive testing programme helps elevate overall quality to ensure the consistent and reliable performance demanded by the Comline brand.”
Among the new additions added to the roster are two references for BMW and Mini models. Part numbers CBP02318 (front) and CBP2319 (rear) can be fitted to the BMW 2-Series (2013-onwards), i3 (2013-onwards), X1 (2014-onwards), as well as the Mini Countryman (2016-onwards) and Clubman (2014-onwards).
Hub Assembly Kits
The hub assembly is a vital component in a vehicle’s transmission, and fitting quality parts is safety-critical. Comline hub assembly kits are produced to deliver the reliability, consistency and performance required whilst ensuring a trouble-free fit to the vehicle.
Within this latest product release is a rear hub assembly – CHA236 – for the Opel/Vauxhall Astra (2011-onwards) and Zafira(2011-2012).
Also featured are two notable rear hub assembly kits – CHA247 and CHA255 – designed for Opel/Vauxhall, Saab and Honda applications respectively. The former fits both the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia (2008-2011) and Saab 9-5 (2010-2012), whilst the latter is designed for the hugely popular Honda Civic (2006-2011).
With this latest batch of new-to-range parts Comline is once again demonstrating product development prowess across its diversified product portfolio. It is further evidence as to why Comline is currently one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in Europe.
