Complaints line gets just 9 complaints
The National Environmental Complaints Line (NECL) has received just nine complaints in relations to the refinish sector, since it was establisged back in March, Bodyshop.ie can reveal.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that the National Environmental Complaints line, which was set up in March, has received just none complaints covering a number facilities to date.
The EPA has confimed to Bodyshop.ie that these complaints have been passed on to the relevant local authorities for further investigation.
“The complaints generally relate to refinishers with some complaints about suppliers also. The complaints relate to operators across a wide number of counties and there is no specific pattern emerging,” an EPA spokesman confirmed.
