Complaints line has quiet summer
The National Environmental Complaints Line (NECL) has received just nine complaints in relation to the refinish sector, since it was established back in March
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that the NECL, which was set up in March, has received just nine complaints covering a number facilities to date.
The EPA says that these complaints have been passed on to the relevant local authorities for further investigation. To date the EPA has not followed up with the local authorities to check how they have dealt with the initial complaints.
