Cromax continues Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team sponsorship

The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team has confirmed Cromax in Italy as an Official Sponsor of the team in its quest for the 2017 MotoGP World Championship, which began on 26 March 2017. This agreement marks the eighth consecutive year Cromax, one of the premium brands of Axalta Coating Systems, a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, has been one of the team’s partners and suppliers for a MotoGP season.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Cromax name appears on the Yamaha YZR-M1 bikes of Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales. Cromax refinish paint systems are used on the support trucks as well as on the mechanics’ toolboxes, workbenches and other pitlane equipment. Cromax paints are also used in the garage and in the hospitality areas.
