Cromax launches new mixing tints

Cromax has extended its Basecoat and Cromax Pro system ranges with new mixing tints, which help to meet the growing trend in Europe for high chroma and exclusive OEM colours.

Specifically developed to offer bodyshops the ability to create deeper and more saturated colours, Cromax Pro Scarlet Red WB61 and Cromax Scarlet Red 1461W are transparent and highly chromatic bluish shades of red. They are designed for both effect and solid colours and can be used to repair colours such as Jaguar Picante Red, Hyundai Red Passion and Aston Martin Fire Red 2.

Cromax-Pro

The new high-performance orange tints – Cromax Pro Pure Orange WB54 and Cromax Pure Orange 1454W – help to complete the brand’s colour offering for chromatic oranges and reds.

The first refinish formulas for these OEM colours are available immediately on www.cromax.com/eu. Cromax is also revising colour formulas that could benefit from these new bright red and orange tints. They will be live on the colour retrieval website as they become available and circulated on the first ColorNet Pro update in 2015.

Cromax Spectral Silver WB1736 contains an exclusive rainbow Spectraflair pigment and can be used with both Cromax Basecoat and Cromax Pro Basecoat. Created as a response to demand from European Cromax bodyshops, this tint, which gives the effect of a shimmering rainbow, allows bodyshops to colour match the Audi LX7T Prismasilber, mainly used on Audi S-Type models. Formulas containing Cromax Spectral Silver WB1736 are available with immediate effect on www.cromax.com/eu.
