DECLG proposes Decopaint and Solvent regulations revision

The Department of Environment, Culture and Local Government (DECLG) is proposing to revise the Decopaint and Solvent regulations in the second half of the year.

The DECLG is also considering revising the regulations surrounding the Accredited Inspection Contractor (AIC) Scheme.

The proposed revision will centre on issues such as the limited number of inspection bodies currently in the market and concerns over the financial burden imposed by the inspection process.
