ECP Team P R Reilly launches new services for garages
Euro Car Parts Team P R Reilly has launched a new suite of services to help garages increase efficiency and productivity in the workshop, while delivering a more professional experience, for more customers.
For the first time, garages across the Republic of Ireland can sign up for subscriptions to automotive data and workflow software ‘HaynesPro’, and workshop video system ‘Viewmech” – both free of charge dependent on monthly parts spend – as well as having access to finance support from ‘Payment Assist’.
HaynesPro gives garages and technicians mobile access to essential repair and maintenance data as well as repair times, alongside guided diagnostics and technical support. With all the latest information at their fingertips, this means they can operate autonomously and efficiently, and always to a high standard.
To support faster work authorisation and ensure a top quality, transparent service Viewmech, Euro Car Parts Team P R Reilly’s own video platform for repairers, enables garages to send their customers branded video footage of any work required to their vehicles, with the option to add a quote and accompanying note for any repair work, and for customers to request a call back.
And in the event that customers are struggling to cover the cost of one-off or unexpected bills, their accident repair excess, or accessory or Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) insurance purchases, garages can now offer them a zero per cent loan through Payment Assist. The service, which claims a 98 per cent acceptance rate, allows customers to spread the cost of repairs, meaning garages do not need to turn away work and drivers can stay on the road. The garage is paid in full within five working days.
These developments form part of an ongoing programme of investment from Euro Car Parts Team P R Reilly, with its full range of diagnostic training courses – ‘Road to Success’ – available from September, and the opening of three new distribution hubs planned during the next 18 months, to increase product availability and facilitate even faster deliveries.
Bob Wiffen, operations director at Euro Car Parts Team P R Reilly, said: “We’ve known for a long time that, to truly support the independent aftermarket, we need to be more than just a parts supplier. It’s our responsibility to offer the training, equipment and other digital innovations our customers need to remain competitive.
“In the immediate term, using technology to help technicians operate autonomously and secure remote work authorisation can help support social distancing in the workshop. And it can help garages process the backlog of demand that has arisen post-lockdown.
“Longer-term, the use of solutions like HaynesPro, Viewmech and Payment Assist presents a real opportunity for garages to grow their share of the market by accepting every job that comes in, completing work to a consistently high standard and delivering a customer experience to match.”
