Electro Maintenance achieves ISO 9001:2015 accreditation

Electro Maintenance Ltd., the rotating electrics specialists, recently achieved a significant landmark, when it received ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for the distribution of starter motors and alternators to the trade.

Following an extensive six-month online application the company’s Quality Management Systems, were independently assessed and accredited by Qualitas Veritas to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 standards and guidelines.

Managing Director, Dave Sanfey believes that Electro Maintenance is the first company in the rotating electrics distribution market in Ireland to achieve ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

Accreditation, according to Dave is important for a number of reasons. Firstly it will enhance the company’s reputation and help to attract new customers.

“It will provide assurance that the company can demonstrate compliance, and shows its commitment to providing high levels of customer satisfaction. It also demonstrates the existence of an effective quality management system,” Dave said.

It will also offer a significant boost when pitching for government and semi-state contracts.
Dave explained: “ISO 9001:2015 testifies as to how we do business, and offers an assurance that continuous quality management systems are in place.”

“It will also spur us on to make continuous improvements, as there is an annual audit process.”
