Inter-cept uses question-and-answer routines, typically operated over telephone, to direct damaged vehicles accurately and swiftly to the correct next port of call. It is based on an extensive knowledge base built up using decades of data.

Rob Harper, Commercial Manager at ERS Claims explains:
“Since the introduction of the Inter-Cept triage tool ERS have significantly increased the efficiency of our FNOL team, pointing vehicles to repairers or salvage depending on the damage, age and condition – and all based on the accurate information provided to the claims handlers’ via Inter-Cept. This has improved claim cycle times, reduced unnecessary frictional costs and contributed to an improved customer experience.”

Inter-est is the technology leader in auto claims including estimating and FNOL. Examples of recent work include FNOL, triage systems to reduce or eliminate the number of estimates required and identify write-offs quickly, mobile apps to take solutions on the road, management information dashboards that provide visibility and control, and tablet-based systems for sharing data, images and work-in-progress.

Michael Nixon, CEO of Inter-est said: “We are proud of our software – and even more proud of how our clients put our solutions to work, achieving tangible business benefits. ERS are saving time and money, while improving the accuracy with which vehicles are progressed to repair or salvage. That’s good for everyone including the insurer, repairers and owners.”
