FinishLine – a clear winner for Abcon

Abcon Industrial Products Ltd is well known for its engineering expertise in the abrasives industry in Ireland. However, the County Cavan manufacturing company has also been steadily growing its market share in the automotive refinishing market since 2010.

This growth is set to increase with the addition of the FinishLine range of products, which has been designed and developed by Abcon.

Sales Manager, Anthony Doherty commented: “Over the past five years we have been listening to our customers’ comments about their processes and what would improve them. We felt that we were finally ready to begin developing our own range in late 2013. We firmly believed that we could design a product that could improve the finishing experience for body shop personnel.”

According to Andy Gray from Tadhg Hawes Motor Parts in Co Cork, who says that he has been looking for the perfect lacquer for a long time, Abcon has produced exactly this solution with its Diamond Clear range.

He said: “The Clearcoat range is selling superbly for us and any customer who has bought it has come back to buy more, which is the proof of how good the product is for me.” His customers’ comments have included the fact that the lacquer is easy to use, fast drying, gives an excellent finish and is fantastically easy to polish.
