Five Star from Cromax gets a bold new look
Five Star, the international network of top-echelon bodyshops of the Cromax® brand, formerly known as DuPont Refinish has launched a redesigned logo and signage. The revamped logo and clean, modern signage means that Five Star members will be even more visible in their market.
Anthony Cashel, brand marketing coordinator, Cromax® UK and Ireland, says: “Five Star members are committed to delivering exceptional service. Each member has highly-trained staff and the highest levels of paint technology from the Cromax® brand to repair vehicles accurately and quickly. The launch of the Cromax® brand gave us the perfect opportunity to upgrade the look and feel of Five Star, in line with its top-quality reputation. And we’ve worked hard to ensure it still retains its distinctive and eye-catching appearance.”
The new Five Star logo, for example, has a stronger look, and the modernised prism-effect still makes it immediately recognisable as the well-known, highly-regarded network.
“We’ve changed the look and feel to really focus on Five Star. This clean and to-the-point approach accurately represents the high-quality for which Five Star stands,” says Cashel.
The Five Star support program is modular, with each segment addressing the strategic areas of business. This enables members to select the elements most attractive to them at a given time. To keep a consistent look and feel across these customer marketing programmes, their icons have been updated too. Lifetime Warranty, Eco Pro and Fast Repair all have new, more streamlined icons which fit in perfectly with the Five Star logo as well as with the Cromax® brand overall.
“The new signage we have developed for Five Star members pulls all elements together. It provides Five Star bodyshops with a clear and striking visual representation of their membership. In order to help our members visualise the look of the new signage, we’ve created some graphic simulations of the signage as it might look. We have designed the signage to be flexible so bodyshops can adapt it to include their own name and logo, or add the Five Star elements onto their own branding,” continues Cashel.
The new logo is being rolled out now and new signage will be in the market from early 2014.
