Fix Auto expands Irish network

Last December, Fix Auto revealed plans for expansion in Ireland. However, this was inevitably delayed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Nevertheless, Fix Auto and Novus Glass Ireland have still acquired J Donohoe Bodyshop in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, which will be named Fix Auto Wexford North.

Jonathan Penny, managing director of Fix Auto and Novus Glass Ireland stated: “The acquisition is a milestone for our mission here in Ireland. Having taken the decision for a blended ownership model in Ireland late last year, the J Donohoe site represents another high profile point of service in both the Fix Auto and Novus Glass Ireland Networks.”

Fix Auto tells us that it is currently in discussions with other sites across Ireland, with more announcements due shortly.

Commenting, Fix Auto Ireland head of operations Trevor Lee said: “This is a really exciting announcement for Fix Auto Ireland, in what could otherwise be seen as uncertain times we are looking forward to bringing the world’s number one brands in both collision and glass repair & replacement to the south east.”

Novus Glass head of operations Stephen Maher added: “Enniscorthy is an important step in increasing our footprint to meet growing customer needs given the increase in demand for ADAS recalibration. Windscreen repair, replacement and calibration can be carried out in our growing number of static sites.”
