Accident repair specialist Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs, based on Galway’s Oranmore Business Park, has been named ‘Bodyshop of the Year’ at the fourth SIMI Motor Industry Awards. The accolade was announced in front of over 500 of the motor industry’s senior figures at a glittering ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Dublin (formerly the Burlington Hotel).
This is the second time that Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs has come away from the awards with the gold medal, having also won the award in 2012.
The awards honoured those businesses that have demonstrated excellence and best practice in the face of extremely challenging economic conditions. Winning the trophy for ‘Bodyshop of the Year’, judges praised Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs, recognising the business for “Continuously refining standards and processes, optimising the customer experience and implementing a sustainable, strategic management plan.
