Gardaí seize Mazda 6 involved in fatal Cavan hit and run

Gardaí have located and seized a vehicle suspected of being involved in a fatal hit and run in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan last month.

A Mazda 6 with registration 151-G-6239 was seized and a technically examination has been completed.

Gardaí have also said that a man, aged in his late 30s, was arrested yesterday evening and is currently being detained at Bailieborough Garda Station.

Update: 8th September

The man (30s) arrested as part of the investigation into the fatal hit and run which occurred on the N3, Billis, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, on the 18th August, 2022, has been released.
