Glass’s upgrades GlassMatix repairer estimating system

Glass’s is upgrading its GlassMatix repairer estimating system to include vehicle registration and marque look as part of a planned customer experience improvement plan.

David Punter, Head of Sales (Bodyshop & Insurance Sector), Glass’stold that the upgrades will allow the company “to deliver a cultural change to the market by automating a vehicle matching service to ensure that the user is provided with the correct repair times and projects from our Thatcham based system.”

“This in turn will lead to us now to be able to offer Thatcham repair methods included in our system, which purely pulls the correct repair methods (specific to the part you are working on) as we already supply the times from Thatcham as above.”

“Any other estimating system offered which does not offer Thatcham times as its core system will be providing times from another source, with its link into Thatcham to deliver the methods which may not be corresponding an outcome.”
