Glasurit develops new activator

Glasurit continues to further enhance the performance of its mainstream products and the new activator, 352-230 has been developed specifically to optimise the performance of the primer 283-150.

By employing the new activator, the pot life of 283-150 is extended to seven days, so it can be batch mixed. The mixing ratio is simplified to 1:1 and no additional thinner is required.

In addition the new activator further improves the corrosion protection offered and all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) approvals of 283-150 remain valid when used in combination with 352-230.

The existing activator for 283-150, which is 352-228 will remain in the product portfolio, specifically for customers who use 283-150 as primer filler.
