Glasurit to showcase powerful paint portfolio in Essen

Glasurit will be bringing its wide range of new and informative features to the 31st Techno-Classica in Essen, Germany from April 10-14, 2019.

At the classic car show, Glasurit will display its powerful portfolio of products and services for preserving classic cars to the show visitors.

Glasurit has one of the world’s largest databases for automotive colours and has archived not only the current colours at www.classiccarcolors.com, but also colours that date back to the infancy of the automobile.

At the Glasurit stand, classic car owners will find answers not only to the question where they can find the original colour of the vehicle but also find out who is able to perform professional classic vehicle refinishing.

In order to provide support for these issues, Glasurit will present its network of specialized body shops from Germany and Netherlands which are also recommended by the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA), the international federation of historic vehicle clubs.

Glasurit will also be presenting a new micro-repair set that can be used in the future to repair micro damage such as stone chipping or mini-scratches particularly efficiently – without having to overcoat the original paintwork. In addition, Glasurit will illustrate how precisely body shops can measure colours today with the innovative Ratio Scan 12/6 measuring device.

Jürgen Book, Classic Cars Manager at BASF, who was recently honored by the Forum für Fahrzeuggeschichte (Vehicle History Forum), or F-kubik for short, and the 10-member Techno-Classica team will be available to answer classic car fans’ questions.

At www.classiccarcolors.com Glasurit Classic Car Colors offers access to the Glasurit colour database with over 250,000 colours and more than 600,000 paint formulas, as well as to its network of specialized body shops.
