Hella launches first work lamp with plastic housing

Renowned lighting specialist, Hella, continues to pave the way for the aftermarket with its innovative lighting solutions.

The most recent addition to its comprehensive offering is the PS1000, which is the first Valuefit LED work lamp with a corrosion-free, plastic housing. By using plastic, the reverse light compliant, work lamp is optimally protected against corrosion and can withstand even the toughest conditions, as well as offering a weight saving advantage and better vibration control.

With its 1,000 lumens, the PS1000 is ideally suited as a halogen substitute. For optimal illumination, a mounting height of 2.5 metres is recommended, as this ensures that the light pattern is distributed homogeneously over a particularly large surface area, providing a significant improvement in working conditions at night. Furthermore, LED work lamps are completely maintenance-free and offer a significantly longer lifetime than a traditional halogen work lamp.

Due to its ECE-R23 reverse lamp approval, the PS1000 is also perfect for rear mounting and therefore suitable for multiple purposes.

The housing and bracket are black, giving the work lamp a modern and elegant style and its compact design also makes it ideal for universal use.

Hella’s Valuefit lighting range provides a reliable and cost-effective changeover to LED technology.
