HOMS Assist appoints motor engineer and claims assessor

Law firm HOMS Assist has appointed Stephen Clancy as motor engineer and claims assessor.

Clancy has over 20 years of experience in the area of vehicle damage claims and the motor industry, and previously worked with Gerard M Doyle and Assess Ireland as a motor engineer assessor, dealing directly with insurance companies.

In his new role, HOMS Assist says Clancy will specialise in all types of motor damage claims to achieve the best possible result for the client.

Commenting on his appointment, Clancy said: “This is a unique offering which makes sense for garages, as well as for clients, because they don’t have to chase and negotiate with insurance companies for payment.
