LKQ Euro Car Parts expands Waterford branch
LKQ Euro Car Parts has moved its existing Waterford branch to a larger site in order to expand its offering to the Irish aftermarket.
The Waterford branch has moved to Lacken Road Business Park, and the new site includes an in-house training centre offering a range of LKQ Academy courses – covering areas from diagnostics and engine management to marketing – for Ireland-based technicians.
The branch officially opened with a customer event on 4th June, featuring tours of the site, offers across a range of in-store products and training courses, and a prize draw.
As well as having a paint mixing facility onsite, LKQ Euro Car Parts says that the new branch will continue to give both drivers and garages across the city and surrounding areas local, convenient access to its 160,000-strong range of car, light commercial vehicle and specialty parts.
From replacement wiper blades, headlamp bulbs, collision and coatings products to specialist garage equipment for working on electric vehicles and hybrids, the range is designed to help Irish aftermarket businesses to future-proof their operations and cater for the latest, cleanest vehicles on the road.
LKQ Euro Car Parts stocks household names like Bosch, Duracell and Continental, in addition to having its own line of brands.
The new Waterford branch is LKQ Euro Car Parts’ second in the city and 25th in the Republic of Ireland. It says that there is several more openings around the country planned for later this year.
Stephen Douthart, divisional director at LKQ Euro Car Parts, said: “It’s great to be in Waterford and we’re excited to be able to provide an enhanced service to our retail and trade customers in the area.
“Whether drivers are doing minor vehicle repairs or preparing for a long journey, we have a team of 20 industry experts in-store ready to help them find exactly what they need – and our new branch offers a fantastic click-and-collect service along with amazing weekly offers.
“We’re here for local independent garages, too. They provide a fantastic, highly competitive service for all types of vehicles, and we want to help them keep meeting and exceeding their customers’ expectations both now and in the future.”
LKQ Euro Car Parts will be exhibiting at this year’s Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place from Saturday and Sunday, October 15-16 at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
