Magic colours for the Middle East
Dubai is a city of superlatives. The same goes for the automotive industry. From May 22 to 25, the city will be hosting the Automechanika Middle East, the biggest international trade fair for the automotive industry in the Middle East. In Dubai, Glasurit will be presenting new technologies along with the Glasurit RATIO Concept Plus portfolio of services that accompany its products.
“For us, the Automechanika is the ideal platform to position ourselves as the premium brand in the automotive refinish sector in the growth market of the Middle East and to present our products and instruments,” explained Jens Liebermann, Commercial Sales Support Manager Middle East at Glasurit. The Automechanika is a combination of an automotive trade fair and a fair for automotive aftermarket and bodyshop equipment. In 2011, 17,000 visitors from 130 countries attended the show.
“We do not sell products but rather all-around solutions, and we want to demonstrate this at the fair,” Liebermann explained. This is because in addition to the products, the company offers its customers a range of services and consulting know-how that help bodyshops to work more efficiently.
The two services that will be presented in Dubai, Glasurit Bodyshop Audit and Glasurit Bodyshop Design, are good examples. During the audits, the Glasurit experts help detect potential for savings and development at the bodyshop. They scrutinize all areas associated with the refinishing process and work with the bodyshop managers to prepare a plan of action for cutting costs.
Glasurit Bodyshop Design was developed in order to boost the productivity of bodyshops. Bodyshop Design achieves this by planning a better arrangement of bodyshop areas and machines and streamlining workflows. For instance, shortening distances between the various parts of the bodyshop allow faster and more efficient work.
