Magneti Marelli Parts and Services joins IAAF
Automotive component distributor Magneti Marelli Parts and Services has joined as the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) membership.
The trade body’s service membership has continued to grow throughout the year and the latest expansion sees the Italian company, with its strong heritage in the automotive industry, joining to support the Federation’s lobbying initiatives and industry networking events.
In 2019, Magneti Marelli joined forces with Japanese company Calsonic Kansei to form Marelli, one of the world’s leading global independent suppliers to the automotive sector, with around 50,000 employees worldwide.
Magneti Marelli Parts and Services remains as the commercial division of Marelli, that distributes parts, automotive components and service to workshops through a network of distributors across the automotive aftermarket.
Mark Field, chief executive at IAAF, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Magneti Marelli Parts and Services to the IAAF membership. The brand is synonymous with the aftermarket and has a concrete reputation for high-quality parts and services. Its technical knowledge and experience of the industry will be invaluable to the Federation and its members.”
Magneti Marelli Parts and Services offers both original equipment (OE) spare parts and OE-matching quality across all of its product categories, including electrics, mechanical, body and consumable products, as well as supporting the workshop with technical equipment, software, technical information, and innovative technology specific training courses developed by experienced in house specialists.
As IAAF’s newest member, Magneti Marelli Parts and Services will have access to many of the Federation’s benefits, including entry to industry networking events and insights into the IAAF’s lobbying activities to protect the automotive aftermarket.
