MAM Software showcases workshop management solution at Bosch conferences
MAM Software, represented in Ireland by RNH Solutions, has participated in a series of Bosch Car Service (BCS) conferences. MAM showcased the latest developments to BCS Online – the only Bosch-recommended garage management solution – which is designed to help improve productivity and optimise workshop activities. The company also demonstrated its new mobile and tablet app, MAM CarSide, which provides an electronic platform to carry out vehicle health checks.
The conferences this year marked the 10th anniversary of the BCS network and were held across the UK from October 15 to November 26. The BCS conferences brought members of the BCS network together to hear more about Bosch’s activities and discuss new ways to develop their businesses. They also gave Bosch-approved suppliers the chance to showcase their latest products.
“The Bosch conferences provided us with an opportunity to show our support and commitment to the BCS network,” said Gavin Sparks, Senior Sales Manager at MAM Software. He added: “This year’s events have been the most exciting yet, with an especially large number of attendees supporting the milestone birthday of the BCS network. Plus, we had significant updates to BCS online to showcase as well as our brand new mobile and tablet app.”
BCS Online, a cloud-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, has adopted a new look, making it more user-friendly for both tablet and PC users. A range of new icons and shortcuts have been added, and many search options for customer and part information have been created or enhanced. The new release also introduces a new ‘self-service’ feature, which allows users to trial and purchase MAM’s new CarSide app from within BCS Online.
CarSide is a mobile and tablet application that adds electronic health check and damage inspection functionality to BCS Online, allowing users to generate revenue by identifying damage and repairs. All information entered on CarSide is synchronised to BCS Online, including a new status field which tracks the movement of a job through the workshop.
Mr Sparks continued: “We’re very pleased with the feedback we’ve had from the BCS network and our BCS Online customer base has increased following the conferences. Having the Bosch seal of approval on CarSide and BCS Online reflects the hard work we’ve put into their development, and an increasing number of BCS Centres are experiencing the benefits our products have to offer.”
