Matthews new ACIS chief executive

ACIS Ltd, one of the UK’s leading distribution networks to the crash repair industry, has appointed John Matthews as its new chief executive, effective 1st April.

With over 30 years of experience in the accident repair and insurance sector, ACIS says Matthews will enhance its network through his considerable expertise in securing business and supply agreements with the major insurance companies and his accomplished customer-facing management style.

Most recently, Matthews was the UK business development director at the RAA (Retail Automotive Alliance) where he grew the turnover significantly and expanded the shareholder base, developing multiple purchasing programmes to increase ROI.

Prior to this role, Matthews was business development director at AutoRestore, head of the UK business at Fix Auto, and sales and marketing director at Audatex (UK) Ltd. He also held several positions at Akzo Nobel, including national account manager.
