Meath Recovery lands a 40th anniversary Dyson deal

What better way to mark your company’s ‘coming of age’ than by investing in your first brand new piece of vehicle recovery equipment, a Dyson Enforcer with two-wheel lift conversion.

J&S Motor Repairs, Navan, Co. Meath, was founded 21 years ago by Jim O’Sullivan, who was joined in the business 13 years ago by his son Shane.

Today, sister company Meath Recovery relies on a fleet of four dedicated vehicles to provide a 24-hour service covering most of Leinster including the Greater Dublin area.

Meath Recovery’s new Roger Dyson Enforcer two-wheel lift has a 2,500kg capacity E-Type locker storage body and a radio-remote controlled power tilt boom. Mounted on an Iveco 65C18 crewcab chassis, the body provides ample storage space for extra recovery equipment, parts and spares to deal with any roadside rescue.

And it came fully equipped and ready to work, thanks to Roger Dyson’s 40th anniversary, limited edition offer.

Britain’s leading specialist vehicle recovery equipment manufacturer is in the process of building 40 conversions at its production facility in Droitwich, Worcestershire. All will come with additional ‘no cost’ extras, Roger’s way of giving something back to the industry as a thank-you for his four decades in the recovery business.

Jim O’Sullivan confirmed: “We were certainly very well looked after; with all of the extra equipment Roger threw in for free – items like a trolley jack, storage, strobe lighting, jump leads, sockets and cables, LED working lights, dolly wheel storage and even a broom and shovel – it was a fantastic deal.

Jim continued: “Our last three trucks have all been fitted with Dyson bodies but this is the first brand new one. As the saying goes, his equipment ‘does exactly what it says on the tin’. It’s exceptionally well built, easy to operate and has presented us with no problems whatsoever.”

He added: “My son Shane agreed the initial price for our new truck and that’s exactly what we ended up paying. What’s more, Roger delivered on every promise he made in terms of the build and delivery date – it was a real pleasure working with the man.”

Meath Recovery is a fully approved contractor to the AA, RAC (Hibernian Aviva), AXA, Mondial Assistance, Europ Assistance and MIS Claims, as well as many garages and vehicle dealerships.

The ‘no cost’ upgrade offer extends to every product in the Roger Dyson range, which also includes Hydraloader slidebeds, vehicle and equipment transporters, Commander heavy recovery units and NRC sliding and rotating cranes. Even Landoll travelling axle trailers qualify for the free upgrades.
