MKW Motors announces new training dates

MKW Motors, the Bosch training experts, is holding a two-day training course on “Essential Test Procedures” at its premises in Dublin at the end of the month.

The “Essential Test Procedures” VSE1 course covers:

Electrical Values
Electrical Measurement
Identification of circuit symbols
Use of wire diagrams
Test methods for circuit continuity, insulation and resistance
Electrical properties, testing of series and parallel circuits
Battery and energy systems operation, testing and diagnosis
Test methods for circuits using voltage drop measurement

Attendance on this course is a prerequisite to further attendance and successful development on other courses in the Bosch Diagnostic Technician programme. It is recommended but not essential that prior to VSE1 technicians have familiarity with the operation of a typical automotive multimeter.

On successful completion of VSE1, delegates will be able to refer to a typical system wiring diagram, identify the electrical components and the current paths connecting them to the control units of the system.

Technicians will also understand the important electrical test procedures for the electrical systems on a typical vehicle and be able to carry out correct test procedures using voltage, resistance, current and voltage drop measure to determine circuit condition and identify faults, which may be present in vehicle system circuits.

The two-day course will be held at MKW Motors, A6 & A7, Kingswood Busines Park, Baldonnell Road, Dublin 22. Cost per participant €220.
